Jenny Glenn Wuerker

Artist's Statement    The western landscape is defined by huge skies, expanse reaching all the way to the horizon, and light that can take one’s breath away. Jenny Glenn Wuerker’s large-scale paintings envelop the viewer, making them an active participant in what it feels like to stand out on the open plains. The serene beauty of these open spaces holds a powerful stillness that penetrates through the distraction of stressful activity, a beauty that demands pause. These images are iconic of the West.
